OUR GOALS
We want to bring together the businesses, organisations, creatives, tourism operators, hospitality venues, transport providers, retailers, event organisers and community leaders who help shape the identity, culture and experience of the region.

Through advocacy, partnerships, marketing initiatives, events, training programs and strategic projects, Highland Collective will work to create a connected visitor economy that benefits businesses, residents and visitors alike.
KEY OBJECTIVES
- Promote the Southern Highlands as a premier regional destination
- Support collaboration between tourism, transport, hospitality, retail, creative industries, accommodation providers, event organisers, cultural organisations and supporting services
- Advocate for improved transport connectivity, accessibility and visitor infrastructure
- Promote sustainable tourism, destination development and regional economic growth
- Work on collaborative avenues for marketing, storytelling, promotional and visitor experience initiatives that elevate the Highlands region
- Support education, training, workforce development and industry capability building programs
- Foster partnerships with government, industry bodies, councils, community organisations and private sector stakeholders
- Encourage environmentally sustainable and socially responsible tourism practices;
- Undertake activities, events, campaigns and projects that support the objectives of the Collective
- Secure grants, sponsorships, partnerships that benefit the regional visitor economy
- Advocate on behalf of members and the broader visitor economy to government, industry bodies and stakeholders

Free Membership: An opt-in opt-out basis for each project
A Collective Voice : Advocating directly to local councils, state government, and Destination NSW as a collective membership base.
Cross-Sector Networking: Connections with accommodation, dining, retail, and event operators to create packages and referrals.
Funding & Investment: Ability to apply to Highland Collective to access suitable grants available to NFP’s.
Industry Growth: Introduction to partners for local workforce training, capability building, and market insights
